Born on December 2 1981 in Cape Town South Africa Lesley-Ann Brandt is an actor and model who is well-known for her roles in TV shows and films. Her acting career began with her role on the New Zealand sitcom Diplomatic Immunity Brandt's American debut came with her first role as Naevia in the drama of the same name, Spartacus: Blood and Sand. Since then, Brandt has been featured in numerous TV shows including the likes from Spartacus: Gods of the Arena CSI: NY Single Ladies as well as The Librarians. Brandt is currently appearing as Mazikeen, a character in Tom Ellis Lauren German Kevin Alejandro's urban fantasy Lucifer. Brandt was born in Cape Town South Africa. Later, in her late teens she immigrated along with her parents in Auckland New Zealand. Brandt's career started as a fashion model when she appeared in magazine and television advertisements. She also worked as a consultant for IT recruitment and also in retail prior to becoming a well-known fashion model. On the New Zealand sitcom Diplomatic Immunity that she starred in, playing Leilani F'auigaese back in 2009, her first major role was secured. In 2021, she had her first big appearance in Spartacus Blood and Sand on Starz. She was a slave named Naevia. Her role as Naevia was reprised in the Spartacus prequel Spartacus Gods of the Arena. Craig Parker was her co-star on three different TV shows, including Diplomatic Immunity (2009), Spartacus (2010), and Legend of the Seeker (2008). The year 2016 saw her began playing the role of a bounty hunter named Mazikeen in the Netflix show Lucifer. This happens to be her biggest role to date. The show features Tom Ellis Lauren Gerber Kevin Alejandro D. B. Woodside as well as D. B. Woodside.
